Communication between devices is EVERYTHING. And at Adquio, we’ve made it as easy as it is powerful.
Here’s how to connect your Adquio BACnet Exporter quickly, easily… and with a smile!
As we have already seen in the previous article, Adquio BACnet Exporter is the gateway that opens the doors of your Adquio controllers to the BACnet IP universe, the most widely used protocol in BMS and building automation systems.
And the best part: it works with any of our controllers. Whether you have an Adquio Mini, an Adquio Server, an Adquio Link or even a Microserver, this great little device is ready to work by your side from the very first minute.
Almost nothing! Because Adquio BACnet Exporter has been designed to make everything simple and straightforward:
1 Ethernet port
1 power connector
Yes, it’s that easy. You don’t need complicated configurations or additional hardware in many cases. You just plug it in and… voila! The magic begins.
This single port does the work of three:
and access all the data you need to share.
Ready to be integrated by any compatible system.
Where you can select exactly which variables you want to publish.
All from your browser. All without complications.
Here comes one of our best ideas!
All Adquio controllers come with a default network configuration, with two IPs, which is now perfect for easy connection to the Exporter:
Fixed IP on the WAN port: 172.20.20.1
Dynamic IP via DHCP or manual configuration by the user
Thanks to this, Adquio BACnet Exporter comes ready to connect automatically to the controller’s fixed IP. But if your installation requires it, you can easily change this IP from its web interface.
And yes, the Exporter also comes with its own fixed IP by default: 172.20.20.250
, as well as taking a dynamic IP from the customer’s network to provide maximum compatibility.
If you use Adquio Lite or Microserver, good news! You can connect it directly to their LAN ports without the need for a switch.
With Adquio Mini or Adquio Server, you will need a switch to connect to both the controller and the client network.
Do you work with Adquio Link? If so, our technicians will help you establish a secure connection between your Exporter and your virtual controller in the cloud.
Adquio BACnet Exporter is not just a communication bridge. It is an open door to a world of possibilities.
Immediate integration. Easy configuration. Secure connection. And most important: total freedom for your data to travel where and when you want.
Are you ready to take your installation to the next level?
Connect your Exporter and start enjoying unlimited control!
