As we have already seen in the previous article, Adquio BACnet Exporter is the gateway that opens the doors of your Adquio controllers to the BACnet IP universe, the most widely used protocol in BMS and building automation systems.

And the best part: it works with any of our controllers. Whether you have an Adquio Mini, an Adquio Server, an Adquio Link or even a Microserver, this great little device is ready to work by your side from the very first minute.

2. Serves data over BACnet IP

Ready to be integrated by any compatible system.

3. Offers a clear and intuitive web interface

Where you can select exactly which variables you want to publish.

All from your browser. All without complications.

How does it communicate with your Adquio controller?

Here comes one of our best ideas!
All Adquio controllers come with a default network configuration, with two IPs, which is now perfect for easy connection to the Exporter:

  • Fixed IP on the WAN port: 172.20.20.1

  • Dynamic IP via DHCP or manual configuration by the user

Thanks to this, Adquio BACnet Exporter comes ready to connect automatically to the controller’s fixed IP. But if your installation requires it, you can easily change this IP from its web interface.

And yes, the Exporter also comes with its own fixed IP by default: 172.20.20.250, as well as taking a dynamic IP from the customer’s network to provide maximum compatibility.

How do I physically connect it?
