The previous model fulfilled its function perfectly on a technical level. It worked stably, safely and reliably. However, our customers started to point out two key issues from a practical and installation point of view:

• Unversatile mounting
  The plastic housing did not have an integrated mounting system. In many installations it was necessary to improvise with flanges or other inelegant and unprofessional solutions.

• Improvable thermal management
  The device reached high temperatures. This was completely normal according to the manufacturer’s specifications, but at Adquio we are clear that normal is not always good enough. Heat is one of the main enemies of electronics and can affect the long-term life of the product.

With that feedback on the table, we decided not to apply small patches, but to rethink the device from the real experience of the installer. The result is a clear and tangible evolution:

• New metal housing, much more robust and aligned with professional environments.

• Solid and versatile fastening system, designed for quick and clean assembly on different surfaces, without improvisation.

• Completely cool operation, thanks to excellent passive heat dissipation, no forced ventilation, no noise and no moving parts to wear out over time.
